In this post I will describe the basics of feature extraction from images for those of you wishing to learn. If you're reading this its most likely that you want to get started but are unsure where to start.
I will try and cover the basics here as well as I can. Most of this is taken from a research paper titled "EFFICIENT METHOD FOR FEATURE EXTRACTION ON VIDEO PREOCESSING".
Instead of reading the entire paper, I'm helping you out by extracting the most relevant parts and learning as I write the tutorial.
